microprocessor, the Beetle /mini is the

The Atom is Intel's smallest and lowest
power processor, built on the latest 45
nanometer microarchitecture. It boasts
superb processing and graphical
performance, with 512 Kbytes of L2
cache and hyperthreading technology to
boot.

The Beetle /mini comes with one nonpowered
serial port (RS232), 3 powered
serial ports, 6 USB 2.0 ports, and one
parallel port as standard.

If additional IO ports are required, it has a
full height PCI card slot.
Measuring only 254mm by 216mm, and
128 mm high, the Beetle /mini occupies

Intel's Embedded program with extended

The processor has a thermal design
power of a mere 4 W. Coupled with the
availability of powered interfaces for
peripheral, and a 12VDC port to power a
LCD display, the Beetle /mini requires
much less power to work, therefore

POS system requires only 2 power
points, one for the CPU, the other for a
receipt printer.
